  • Where is the DinoTrek exhibit?
Follow the signs to Festival Field or the Carousel! The DinoTrek path is located across from the Carousel and nearby the path to the Historic Home & Barn.
  • Are there discounts for large groups or members? Where will tickets be sold?
There are no DinoTrek discounts available. DinoTrek tickets must be purchased in advance via our website or at the Zoo ticket booth per ticket holder. Skip the line and buy online! Tickets are available for purchase 24/7 via the Nashville Zoo website. You can additionally purchase tickets, attraction tickets, or tokens via the Zoo Entrance Ticket Booth or DinoTrek Ticket Booth outside of the exhibit during operating hours.
  • Is DinoTrek cost included in my Membership, Unlimited Ride Pass, or Adventure Pass?
No, this is a specialty exhibit that is not included in any membership, membership ride pass, or adventure pass wristband. DinoTrek is an additional cost.
  • Can I visit DinoTrek without Zoo Admission?
No, DinoTrek is a specialty exhibit inside the Zoo. You must enter the Zoo with a membership or Zoo Admission ticket to then purchase a DinoTrek ticket, attraction ticket(s), or token(s) for entrance to the exhibit.
  • If I buy a ticket and don’t use it, can I get a refund? Can I switch my ticket date?
No refunds will be available as all specialty tickets at the Zoo are non-refundable once purchased. However, DinoTrek tickets are good to be used any day during operating hours starting March 6th, 2026 – July 26th, 2026. If you do not use your ticket you can return to use the ticket(s) during this time frame or gift the ticket(s) to a friend/family member/member of your community to use. If worried about using tickets we recommend purchase of attraction ticket(s) or token(s) which can be used year-round on any other Zoo attraction to include Carousel, Zipline, 4D Theater, etc.
  • Are they real dinosaurs?
Our animatronic dinosaurs are replicas of species that would have existed during prehistoric times. That said, the Zoo has animal species that are as old as some dinosaur species – make sure to visit our Cassowary and Rhinoceros Iguana exhibits to learn more! 10AM DinoTrek keeper chat can be found daily pending weather inside exhibit by the Diabloceratops family.
  • Will there be specialty food & beverage or retail souvenir items available?
Make sure to stop by our retail shop as you exit our DinoTrek exhibit to purchase a souvenir to take home! Some special food items like Dino shaped pretzels and themed Dippin Dots can be found as you exit the exhibit.
  • Is the DinoTrek path ADA accessible or Sensory Friendly?
The DinoTrek path takes approximately 10min to walk through depending on whether you stop to read the information on each exhibit. There is a swinging bridge at the end of the path so any ADA participants can exit the exhibit via the entrance to avoid the bridge. Sensory Friendly hours (featuring no sound or movement) will be offered 9AM-10AM on 3/29, 4/19, 5/17, 6/28, and 7/19. You can also find accessibility social stories to help plan your visit to the exhibit on our website Here.
